Jeet Kune Do is a total system that gives individuals the ability to enhance and develop the attributes of coordination, precision, power, endurance, speed, balance, mental calmness and emotional control.

 

Q: What about exercise and stretching?

Because Jeet Kune Do is based on the concept of simplicity that's echoed in the academy's training curriculum; we are here to develop and enhance your martial arts skill i.e. timing, balance, coordination, sensitivity, precision, speed, mechanics, footwork and emotional control.

The nature of our training provides our students an intense physical workout. Though we do not stretch at the academy we provide our students with a daily stretching program that they can perform at home.

This not only enhances your martial arts performance, it is also a necessity for your overall health. Self discipline is one of the major philosophical tenets in JKD.


The Academy does not waste precious class time on superfluous activities; our primary purpose is to enhance your martial arts skill while improving one's self.

And as always you are welcome to try one of our introductory classes, which are held bi-monthly at the academy, to see if JKD is right for you.
