Self-Defense
+ Self-Discipline _________________ Self-Confidence | The definition of Kung Fu (Gong Fu) literally means “learned skill”, or “skill acquired through application of time of effort”.
Children love challenges and the enthusiasm they demonstrate is surprising in such an environment where discipline and good behavior is demanded.
Self Defense
We have developed a unique program that instructs students in realistic self defense. Our program motivates them to improve their general level of fitness while enriching them with crucial life skills so that they can become achievers in all aspects of their life.
Discipline
Our Kung Fu for Kids program is more than just another after school activity. Baseball, football, soccer and basketball are all great for children; they do not focus on character development.
Self Confidence
Our disciplined classes puts the spotlight on your child’s ability to concentrate, being able to focus will improve your child’s capacity to learn. Learning builds a sense of accomplishment and with each new accomplishment your child’s self confidence grows. Confidence is an important step to help develop the mental and physical abilities your child needs to become empowered.
Character Development
Once we’ve instilled confidence we continue to teach values such as respect, honor, perseverance and integrity which is the foundation of the martial arts.
Attitude
Additionally your child will develop a never give up mentality a most important attitude to have. Perseverance is a character trait which will remain with your child through out his or her journey in life.
Life Skills
The character building foundations encouraged in our programs will help your child excel in their academic studies, sports and social endeavors. Believing in ones self is the most important of all life skills, and will enable your child to make the right decisions when they become comforted with negative peer pressure. Your son or daughter will become a leader not follower.
