Instructor George Ilyadis



George Ilyadis formed the Jeet Kune Do Academy of Martial Arts in response to the over-commercialization and consequential watering-down of the art's original tenets,
and to maintain and preserve the authenticity and integrity of Jeet Kune Do.

Studying, practicing and teaching Bruce Lee's martial art of Jeet Kune Do has been the vocation of the Academy's founder and senior instructor, George Ilyadis (pictured, on right), for more than ten years. In 2001, George received certification by his longtime instructor and mentor, Jerry Poteet, a first-generation student of Bruce Lee and renowned authority on Jeet Kune Do.
